  • Partisans of Vilna
    130 minutes, 1986
    Tells the story of the young people who formed the Jewish partisan movement in Vilna, Lithuania. Based on archival footage from the war years and contemporary interviews with partisan survivors (including Abba Kovner, a founder of the partisan movement and one of Israel’s leading poets) the film explores the challenges of organizing resistance during the Holocaust.
  • Warsaw Ghetto

    Narrated by Warsaw Ghetto survivor Alexander Bernfes, this program includes striking and often shocking footage showing the creation of the ghetto, the early Nazi propaganda, scenes from everyday life, starving people in the streets, and the final, violent ten-day resistance.
